Trial date for alleged serial robber set

MOLEPOLOLE: The trial of alleged serial robber, Botsi Kefitile for armed robbery and burglary is scheduled for February 22 to 25 before Molepolole Principal magistrate, Nehemiah Mugoni.

Botsi faces multiple counts of armed robbery, burglary, unlawful wounding as well as escaping from lawful custody.Kefitile was arrested late last year at Ga-kgatla post office when he was attempting to steal old pensioners’ funds.Before he was arrested, it is alleged that he shot and wounded a Trojan security officer in Molepolole on October 8.

It is also alleged that on August 28, Kefitile robbed the Afro Butchery in Molepolole of cash amounting to P13, 000. He robbed Score Supermarket of P3, 000 and the Caltex Filling Station of P6, 000 at gunpoint.
