Toddler drowns in bucket of water

FRANCISTOWN: A nine-month-old toddler drowned in a 25-litre bucket of water on Monday in Tholotsane lands, some two kilometres west of Tonota village.

Tonota station commander Superintendent Loeto Ramabokwa says that they are not investigating the matter any further because no offence had been committed.

"It was an unfortunate incident that happened. They did not know that the child would crawl to the bucket of water," he said.
