TNMC MD's walk slated for September

The walk, which was started in 2010, is intended to raise funds for charity.  The theme for this year's Charity Walk is "Tati Nickel Cares", which is also the company tagline.  The theme, Rapitsenyane said, is supported by emphasis on caring for employees, the environment and communities around the mine.

According to Rapitsenyane, the guest walker at the event will be Rose Tatedi, the Managing Director for Associated Fund Administrators (AFA). He further said that the mine will construct two houses for disadvantaged families that reside in the vicinity of the mine, from proceeds raised during the walk.
