Tlokweng by-election D-Day moment

With only three days left for residents of Tlokweng to make a final choice of the person whom they want to represent them in Parliament, each party is doing all it can to win.

Three candidates will contest the Tlokweng by-election; Elijah Katse of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP), Kenneth Segokgo of the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) and independent candidate, Shirley Segokgo.

The post became vacant after the death of its MP, Same Bathobakae of UDC in November 2016. The writ for the election took five months to be announced.
