The South East District Council has revived its plans for a recreational park in Tlokweng, following the end of the recent lockdown in Greater Gaborone.

The P20 million project, to be built over two phases, will feature a multipurpose hall, outdoor gym, sports ground, children’s playground, temporary tourist accommodation, restaurant and mini golf course in Metlhabeng ward.

Tlokweng councillors and the area legislator, Thulaganyo Segokgo, met last week for an update on the project.
