FRANCISTOWN: As a young boy playing street soccer in the dusty streets of the low-income location of Maipaafela in Francistown, it never dawned on Wynter Mmolotsi that one day he would become a politician of high calibre.

He was even clueless as to what he wanted to become as his peers shouted, "I want to be a soldier when I grow up! Want to become a doctor!" or something like that as primary school teachers demanded to know what their pupils' dreams were.

It was only during his Junior Certificate (JC) classes at Boipelego Junior Secondary School in Serowe that Mmolotsi refined his dream and wanted to become an agricultural science teacher.
