The MDC is playing a dangerous game with its constituency

So often we have heard that he who controls information controls the people. Hiding information, for whatever reason, can never be interpreted as something done in good faith.

There is always a condescending reason behind it and the outcome is never always good. Rumours thrive on ignorance and lack of information.

We withhold information about someone's death until the mother, who is known to have a weak heart, is believed to be in a position to withstand the shock. In other words, there is something wrong with either the mother or the news, or both, and so, deviously, we manipulate both to literally force them into "co-existing" even though they'd rather not. Withholding information, only to release it "under controlled circumstances", is an indication that something is not right and that people are being manipulated, through time delay, to accept what they would not otherwise have accepted.
