The Eye presenter goes to labour

Christopher Nyanga, the presenter of Btv current affairs programme, The Eye, has been transferred to the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs.

Nyanga, who has been a senior producer and editor, has been working for eight years at the Department of Broadcasting and Services. At the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs, he will be working in the Public Relations and Customer Service Department. "I can confirm that I have been transferred. It happens all the time that public servants are transferred by their employers," Nyanga said.

The journalist started as a Btv news-reader before being moved to news editor. He was later promoted to senior producer and editor of The Eye, the current affairs programme he has been presenting.
