Thapisa leaves UB for Limkokwing

"It is not what they have got for me being a new university but what I have got for them."

Those were the words of Professor Amos Thapisa, director for academic development at the University of Botswana, who will be joining the newly established Limkokwing University.

Thapisa will be joining the institution as Vice President Academic on February 1, 2008 after working at UB for the past 30 years. He stated upon hearing about his moving to the new institution, most people questioned why he was moving to a newly established institution.
