Tension Eases On Kgale Taxi Route

The tension between taxi owners plying the Kgale route 3 and parents of the students studying at St Josephs College was resolved by the Ministry of Works and Transport, who issued the AT and T Monnaakgotla bus with a school bus permit on Friday morning.

"There is nothing more we can do because they have been issued with a permit to transport the students. That is what we wanted and it means that they can continue transporting the students to and from the school.

If there is any action that we will take it will be up to us," the chairperson of the Gaborone Taxi and Local Bus Service Association (GTLBSA) Gibson Matenge said.
