Teachers Sneer At New Salaries Commission

Teachers' organisations say they are not placing much hope in the newly appointed salaries commission.

"For starters, our employer is not represented on that commission. Union representatives would have been better-placed to put our position forward.

"But then Government does not take unions seriously," says the president of the Botswana Secondary Teachers' Union, Eric Ditau.
