Tatitown police explain failure to deliver

JAMATAKA: Tatitown police have said they are trying to come up with effective ways to overcome the problems posed by the fact their beat is too huge to be served effectively.

Sub-Inspector Bigboy Moseki said during a donation of clothes and utensils at Jamataka residents by Botswana Defence Force (BDF) that the police are not reluctant to respond to calls of distress as the public claim. He said they are faced with many challenges that they are trying to overcome to provide the best services.

Moseki said that Tatitown police cover many villages where people require their help at any time of the day. "From Francistown, we cover villages up to Kutamogoree and along the Orapa road we go up to Thalamabele gate," he explained.
