The High Court of Gaborone yesterday denied the application by the four suspended judges to have material and documents between President Ian Khama, The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) and the Chief Justice (CJ) delivered to them.

The panel of three judges, Justices Zibani Makhwade, Leatile Dambe and Sigh Walia found there are no relevant documents that the President, the CJ and the JSC have failed to deliver to the embattled four - Justices Key Dingake, Modiri Letsididi, Mercy Garekwe and Ranier Busang.

Justice Dambe stated in the judgement that, “what is abundantly clear from the Applicants’ (the suspended judges) papers is that the application is based on speculation that the President and the Chief Justice have withheld certain unspecified documents from the Applicants”.
