A local journalist has said that he has been visited by two men he suspects to be Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS) agents this week.

Former Mmegi news editor and now deputy editor of the newly launched Weekend Post, Tshireletso Motlogelwa said yesterday that two people he thinks are DIS agents sneaked into his house on Monday and Tuesday this week. He said that on Monday, his wife returned from the shops while he was resting in the bedroom and found a stranger in the lounge. He said the stranger identified himself as a friend of the landlord. The intruder claimed he had just popped in to check how the tenants were doing.

However, Motlogelwa phoned the landlord who said he had not sent anyone to the house. He described the stranger as a neatly dressed man with a trimmed moustache. The man was lost for words when he was informed the landlord does not know him. Motlogelwa then told the man that he knew he was an agent.
