Suspect reported Kalafatis' killing to police

The shooting to death of John Kalafatis was reported to the police by one of the suspects in the murder case, the High Court in Lobatse has heard.

Tshegofatso Maologa, a police officer, said this when testifying for the state on Friday.

Maologa, who is stationed at the Central Police station, recalled that on the night of May 13, 2009, a man came to report that there had been a shooting in Extension 12, Gaborone.  But Maologa initially said the person who was giving the report did not want to identify himself.
