Stock theft convict facing four rape charges

FRANCSITOWN: A 20-year-old man appeared in court on Monday to face four counts of rape. In the first count, the state alleges that Senyatseng Garetshele raped a woman on December 13, 2011 at the Lekobeng cattlepost.

On 24th of the same month, the accused allegedly raped another woman.

The accused allegedly raped two more women at the same cattle post on August 26, 2012 and July 20, 2013. The accused has pleaded not guilty to the charges. While prosecutor Gaobone Othata said investigations into the matters are complete, he however asked that the case be postponed to following day as not all witnesses were in court.
