SPTC upgrades and services Botshabelo

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Once known as a squatter camp, Botshabelo has been transformed into a formal residential area by the Selebi-Phikwe Town Council that has committed itself into developing the location to a more habitable place with a fast declining crime rate.

Residents now have access to services offered by government, with departments such as the Social Welfare setting up base at the location. Tower lights don the area making it difficult for criminals to do as they please in the cover of darkness. 

Though traces of poverty are evident in many homesteads there are some residents that have made their homes even more beautiful than those in town giving the area a dignity that it previously lacked.
