Siblings Drown In Construction Pit

The families of Kubie and Thomas were grief striken last week after losing four children who perished after falling into in a water filled pit dug for extracting soil samples.

 The pit was dug at the site of an expansion project of the Victoria Lodge in Mogoditshane about 15 kilometres from the centre of Gaborone.

Three Kubie siblings aged 13, 11, eight and their eight-year-old cousin met their fate around 2.30 pm when they allegedly entered an area where the lodge is expanding to.
