Tatitown police detective Assistant Superintendent, Collar Baakile confirmed the incident to Monitor. Baakile said that it was the second attack on the woman on her way to Botswana Railways depot situated between old Kanana and Gerald Estates. She was not only injured but also lost her leather jacket to her attacker. According to the police the complainant told them that the suspect might be a Zimbabwean because of his accent. The victim's earlobe was later stitched at the hospital.
The victim's nightmare was not over. On July 6, at around 6.45am still on a journey to work the woman came face to face with her assailant for the second time. The 'cheeky' attacker was wearing her leather jacket and this time around forcefully demanded the gullible guard's cell phone.
