School of Industry to be built in Ngamiland

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Kalayakgosi Foundation Trust (KFT) is working on a massive project that will culminate in the building of a School of Industry in Ngamiland next year.

Speaking in an interview, KFT Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sylvester Masweu told Mmegi that the aim of the school will be to rehabilitate youth who have been convicted by the courts.

He explained that they would be working with the relevant authority to have the youth sent to the school that will be built in Gumare, for rehabilitation instead of sending them to prison. He mentioned that when youth are sent to prison, they meet hardened criminals who influence them to become hardened criminals.
