Sata, Khama affirm anti-graft drive

The president of Zambia, Michael Sata, has called on the Botswana government to work with his government to curb corruption in the two countries.

Sata, who is on his first state visit to Botswana since assuming office on September 20 last year, said that the two countries should share experiences to rid themselves of corruption because the malady is causing economic stagnation in both countries.

He was speaking at a luncheon hosted in his honour by President Ian Khama at the Grand Plam Hotel yesterday.
