Saleshando defends family business interests

*Advised his father to remain a shareholder

Speaking at a press conference yesterday to clear rumours and reports about his family's association with the Khamas and other members of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP), Saleshando defended his parents' shareholding in Wilderness Holdings alongside the Khamas.

Former BCP leader, Gilson Saleshando and his wife, Professor Lydia Saleshando are reported to have 5,000 and 10,000 shares in the company.Saleshando junior confirmed that at present, this business relationship exists.Saleshando said that upon reading media reports on the Wilderness shareholding, he advised his parents not to disinvest from the company because as far as he is concerned, the company has done nothing wrong.
