Rude Shock For GTV Subscribers

The pay channel abruptly closed shop on Saturday leaving disillusioned  subscribers in the lurch. Some of the subscribers who went to the GTV offices at Molapo Crossing in Gaborone and found the 'closed' sign on the door said they were not warned in time that the pay channel was ceasing transmission. Being month-end, some of them had come to pay for subscriptions. They remained stranded outside the premises as they did not know what action to take.

A message on the screen inside the locked offices read: "With great regret, GTV announces immediate termination of all services.  We will be making a statement in the media".
