Rift Valley Fever vaccination complete

The Department of Veterinary Services has completed vaccinating livestock for Rift Valley Fever in the Ramotswa areas.

The exercise to vaccinate cattle and goats in the area started immediately after government responded positively to farmers appeal not to be charged for the vaccine.

Director of Veterinary Services, Kgosietsile Motsu, says that government revoked the decision to make farmers buy the vaccine for their livestock.
