Rejected BCP candidates cry foul

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Two Botswana Congress Party (BCP) primary election candidates who were recently vetted out have accused the party leadership of favouritism.

The two are Itumeleng 'Shine' Ngakaetsile who wanted to contest the Selibe Phikwe East parliamentary election and former councillor, Modise 'Super' Thipe who wanted to win back Botshabelo Central council ward.

However, their ambitions were shattered after their candidature was rejected by the central committee. According to BCP regulations, the two cannot appeal the decision.
