The case in which Radio Botswana personality, Norman Patlakwe, is accused of rape has been postponed to June 12.

When he was meant to appear for trial yesterday, his lawyer, Basimane Bogopa, said they were unable to proceed with it due to the ill health of the accused. He said that Patlakwe had been granted sick leave until May 30.

"He was granted sick leave from yesterday and cannot appear today due to his ill health," he said.  He applied for a postponement and an alternate date of trial.
