Multitudes of revellers flocked Tlokweng last Saturday to attend Makhadzi’s one-woman show and police said the majority of merrymakers were well behaved.

According to officer commanding, senior Superintendent Theriso Thatayotlhe, a sizeable crowd of police officers were tasked in and around the music festival because they had anticipated crime incidents to occur.

“Given that the festival had attracted multitudes of people we had tasked police officers even along the Tlokweng main roads and had patrols in and around the stadium to make sure that revellers are well behaved. We managed to control the crowd whose behaviour was excellent despite a large number of revellers because we have not recorded any serious offences like murder, rape and assault,” he said.
