PLSE Register Lower Grade

The Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) says candidates did not perform as well as they did in the previous years in the just released Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE).

According to BEC, the focus of the PSLE was this year aligned to the new emphasis on quality and presented examination papers that were more challenging than in previous years.

From a total of 41,1191 candidates who wrote the exams, 8.3 percent obtained grade A, 25.6 percent got grade B, 39 percent obtained grade C and 26.4 percent obtained grade D and 0.7 managed to obtain grade E while 28 students were ungraded.
