Pheto disputes BDP claims

The Member of Parliament for Mmopane/Lentsweletau, Moeng Pheto has rubbished assertions by the constituency leadership of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) that they are talking to him.

After the constituency chairperson Chomi Letole told Mmegi that they were counselling those who had lost Bulela Ditswe with hope of retaining them, Pheto came back and said nothing of the sort is taking place.

The MP, whose appeal against his narrow loss to assistant Vincent Seretse last year was rejected, said the branch chairperson was lying and had never spoken to him. He said they are not even on talking terms.
