Phatshwane undecided on next move

SELEBI PHIKWE: Selebi-Phikwe Town Clerk, Itireleng Phatshwane will leave his post at the end of this month amid growing speculation that he is about to join politics.

Phatshwane, a former educationist, has worked in Gaborone, Kweneng and Francistown before joining the Selebi-Phikwe Town Council (SPTC).

Known as the 'Iron Man' because of his firm approach, Phatshwane is expected to contest for Bobirwa or Selebi-Phikwe constituency East. However, he has denied any interest in joining politics, despite persistent rumours that he has been earmarked to challenge his close friend, Nonofo Molefhi in Selebi-Phikwe East.
