Pedestrian dies in A1 mishap

Law enforcement officers in Mochudi are investigating a fatal road accident in which a man was hit and killed by a vehicle whilst attempting to cross the A1 Highway in Rasesa on Friday night.

Confirming the incident, No.12 District Traffic Officer, Superintendent Itumeleng Maruru, said the police received a report of the accident at around 9pm.

He explained that the deceased, who was working as a herder at a cattlepost on the outskirts of Rasesa, was crossing from one side of the village to the other when he was hit by a vehicle.
