Patlakwe's Wife Testifies

Patricia Patlakwe took the witness stand on Thursday to testify in the case in which her husband, Norman, is charged with raping a 16-year-old girl last year. Norman, former Btv head of news, allegedly raped the girl at Lamila Lodge in Mogoditshane after giving her a lift from Mmakgodi.

Patricia told the court that on the day the incident is said to have occurred, she found the complainant at her business premises in Mmankgodi showing no signs that she had been crying or was hurt. "When I came back from my office, I found customers unattended at the counter and asked them where the attendant was," Patricia said.

During her investigations she found the complainant and her sister whispering in the toilet.
