Over 19 900 to boycott CKGR's wilderness safaris

Survival International (SI), has launched a new war against southern Africa's leading safari operator, Wilderness Safaris after it opened a lodge inside the CKGR where Basarwa are denied water.

SI has launched a petition, 'Don't swim while Bushmen Go thirsty' and over 19,900 travellers around the world have been signing the petition to boycott travelling to tourism destinations owned and run by Wilderness Safaris which has headquarters in South Africa.

However, the impact of this petition on Wilderness Safaris business is not immediately clear.
