Nthomiwa appointed judge - claim

Registrar and Master of High Court Godfrey Nthomiwa is reportedly heading to the High Court where he will serve as a judge.

Despite his denying the latest development in the judiciary, according to sources close to the issue Nthomiwa's name has been forwarded to the president for appointment by the Judicial Service Commission and it is only a matter of time before he joins the bench.

Pressed for comment Nthomiwa denied any knowledge of his impending move to the High Court bench. "I know nothing about that.  I will never know because JSC issues are kept secret and confidential," Nthomiwa said. He further denied having dropped off an application for the position of High Court judge, stating that he will do so at the next available opportunity.
