'No Motswana can run BMC'

One of the prominent feedlotters in Botswana Koos Van Vuuren has told the Reatile Committee that no Motswana can manage the Botswana Meat Commission (BMC) efficiently.Van Vuuren who is director of Betta Beef and former BMC board member, gave evidence yesterday, to the Special Select Parliamentary Committee set to investigate the fall of BMC. 

One of the committee members Prince Maele reminded van Vuuren that when they were at his feedlot recently, he told them that he did not believe that any Motswana could run the BMC. Maele asked him if he still subscribed to that belief, to which he answered in the affirmative.
