No malaria outbreak in F/town-expert

FRANCISTOWN: Rather than an outbreak, there has been only one confirmed case of malaria in Francistown, the coordinator of Greater Francistown District Health Management Team, Dr Retta Ayele, has said.

The confirmed case is of a person who had travelled to Zimbabwe and returned with the disease, Dr Ayele added.

“There is no outbreak of malaria but we have a confirmed case at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital (NRH) of a Motswana who had travelled to Zimbabwe and came back ill,” he explained.
