No deadlock, says DPSM

There is no deadlock and we are still in talks, Festinah Bakwena, director in the Directorate of the Public Service Management (DPSM) has declared.

"Talks have not broken down, we are still talking and negotiating for the constitution to be finalised so that the council is registered," Bakwena said.

Speaking to Mmegi yesterday, Bakwena explained that during negotiations on the constitution of the Public Service Bargaining Council (PSBC) following the big five union's presentation to the employer, DPSM proposed amendments to the draft constitution and the employer requested for adjournment up to today to allow for consideration of the submission.
