The said fraudsters, who usually request a sum ranging from P1,200 to P4,000 also claim to offer applicants assistance to sell repossessed plots.
The land board secretary Nickson Mogapi said during a press conference that tracing the fraudsters remains a challenge as they use cellphones, which they switch off when the land board attempts to contact them.
