NFTRC reaches out to the youth

The youth have been encouraged to step forward and utilise the various training and other services available at the Kanye-based National Food Technology Research Centre (NFTRC).

The NFTRC public relations manager Thatayaone Kepaletswe, told a full Kgatleng District Council meeting in Mochudi yesterday that her institution offers a wide array of services and training opportunities to anybody who has interest in the food industry.

She said that there is no need for educated youth to be loitering the streets given the opportunities and services they have at the food technology research center and related institutions. She felt that people were not taking full advantage of services offered at NFTRC, which she said could take them out of poverty and help diversify the economy of the country.
