MP wants broader probe into BDC

Modubule believes powerful people were behind disappearance of LCW fraudsters

While government has given up the hunt for two men who were directors of two different companies that did business with Botswana Development Corporation (BDC) and disappeared with millions of Pula, the MP for Lobatse wants to revisit the matter.

The first man was a director at African Express whose whereabouts have never been followed up. The other was a manager at Lobatse Clay Works (LCW) who also disappeared following a forensic audit of the company - the report of which was never made public. The MP for Lobatse, Nehemiah Modubule, now wants to table a motion to seek a forensic audit of BDC projects.
