Although the organising secretary for National Amalgamated Local and Central Government and Parastatal Manual Workers Union (NALCGPMU) Johnson Motshwarakgole is full of praises for the presidential housing appeal, he has a problem with President Ian Khama parading poor people on Botswana Television (Btv).

“There is nothing wrong with the Presidential Housing Appeal, it is a good initiative,” said Motshwarakgole. The only problem, said the unionist, is that some students stigmatise children of the recipients of the initiative after being paraded on Btv.
