Mosojane wins first round in Zwenshambe

ZWENSHAMBE: So, Fredah Mosojane had her wish at last it would seem, installing a headman against the wishes of some Zwenshambe residents on Wednesday.

She reportedly arrived in Zwenshambe on Wednesday morning and announced at the poorly attended kgotla meeting that former mayor of Francistown and a known Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) activist, Peter Ngoma was the new headman of records.

Ngoma, in turn requested that another well-known BDP activist, Moses Mabutho stand in for him. When Mmegi arrived at the kgotla at 9.30am, Mosojane and her entourage, who included Ngoma and Mabutho had already returned to their homes in Mosojane village and Francistown respectively.
