Morwaeng, Sebele enter pre-trial parley

The case in which a Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) activist, Kabo Morwaeng, is suing another party member, Kabo Sebele, for defamation is set for a pre-trial conference at the High Court in Lobatse on Tuesday.

Sebele, a member of the BaKwena royal family, challenged Molepolole South MP, Gaotlhaetse Matlhabaphiri, in the primary elections for that constituency but was not successful in his bid.

Morwaeng, who is a BDP activist in Molepolole, is claiming P500,000 against Sebele for defamation, alleging that Sebele caused to be published statements about him that were false.
