Bank of Botswana governor, Linah Mohohlo has suggested targeted budget allocation for women in redressing constraints they face in the informal sector.

The governor implored the nation and the local government to join hands in redressing constraints facing women entrepreneurs in the informal sector.  She said targeted budget allocation will unlock the potential and help upgrade the informal business activities into formal and medium enterprises that would contribute to economic diversification.
