Omphemetse Mogwera, the 15-year-old Bokamoso Community Junior Secondary School (CJSS) boy, left for a bone marrow transplant at Johannesburg's Gordon Medical Centre yesterday. Vice President Lt Gen Seretse Khama Ian Khama has pledged P250, 000 towards the transplant, while P130, 000 is already deposited in the account.

He said he would like to "thank most sincerely the vice president" for his support, which is in consonant with National Vision 2016 aspirations.
