Moatlhodi denies politicking inside Kgotla

FRANCISTOWN: Ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Tonota, Pono Moatlhodi has denied accusations that he is campaigning for the party’s Francistown regional chairperson, Baemedi Medupi at Kgotla meetings.

Moatlhodi will reportedly not contest the BDP primaries next year.

The accusations made are from the party’s Tonota West councillor, Andy Boatile. Medupi, a nominated councillor (in the Tonota constituency) is said to be among those interested in contesting the party’s parliamentary primaries in Totona.
