MMADINARE: The Mmadinare Development Trust (MDT) has sought the Bobirwa Sub District Commissioner’s intervention in a case in which it accuses a Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) council candidate of unfairly making off with P22,980.

MDT claims Mmadinare-Robelela council candidate, Sylvester Masweu, breached a contract the two parties had entered into for him to develop a strategic plan for the Trust. The deal was worth P22,980.

According to a letter signed by the Trust’s chairman, Moseki Moseki, the appeal to the District Commissioner follows “fruitless efforts” by trustees to compel Masweu to fulfil the deal.
