Miss Botswana organisers to handover prizes

Miss Botswana pageant organisers will stage their prize-giving ceremony on Friday. Pageant spokesperson, Tshepo Maphanyane, says the prizes to be handed over include a year’s accommodation for the queen, Seneo Mabengano, from Apex and a cash prize of P100,000. The first princess will get P50,000 cash while the second princess will get P25,000.

Already the top 30 contestants have been awarded their Samsung tablets from Bofinet, all loaded with unlimited data for the next two years.

Limkwokwing University of Creative Technology is the main supporter of Miss Botswana with a P4 million five-year sponsorship converted into scholarships for the queens and princesses.
