Tshireletso was speaking on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture, Christian De Graff, when she shot down Kesaisamang Ramokwena's motion after he had tabled it at the just ended Ntlo ya Dikgosi sitting in Gaborone.   Ramokwena had requested government to increase carcass prices at Maun's Botswana Meat Commission (BMC) abattoir.

But Tshireletso told the house that the carcass prices at the Maun BMC, as of those in other abattoirs, are set on the basis of the market in which the produced meat products are sold.
