Masisi sustains broken leg in car accident

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Francistown North, Tshelang Masisi reportedly sustained a broken leg and was hospitalised at Palapye Hospital after the car he was travelling in with his wife, overturned along the A1 road yesterday.

The MP's wife is said to have been the one driving the south-bound white single cab hilux VVTI model when the accident occurred in Nakalaphala, 20 kilometers south of Serule at 8am.

The deputy station commander of Serule Police Station, Assistant Superintendent Timothy Chaba, confirmed the accident and that the two were taken to Palapye Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
